About Us

Our Story

Some businesses start with spreadsheets.

Ours started with a feeling.

My name is Sujata Baudh. And I have always believed that a home is not just a place you live in — it's a feeling you come back to.

I wanted my home to feel like it had a soul.

Not just furniture arranged in a room. Not just things placed on shelves to fill space. But a home where every corner told a story. Where every piece was chosen with intention. Where walking through the door at the end of a long day felt like the whole world slowing down — just for you.

So I went looking for pieces that could create that feeling.

I walked into store after store. Explored markets. Ordered online. Visited every home decor brand I could find across India. And every single time, I found the same thing —

A small heartbreak.

Beautiful on the outside. Careless on the inside. A rough edge that shouldn't be there. A finish that didn't feel premium. Candles with fingerprints pressed into the wax like nobody checked. Decor pieces that looked stunning in photographs but felt hollow in real life.

And always, always — a price tag that said luxury, but a product that whispered otherwise.

I remember holding a piece I had been excited about for weeks, turning it over in my hands, feeling that familiar disappointment, and thinking:

"If I'm going to spend this much — I deserve better. We all do."

That moment became Sorcish.

Not a business plan. Not a gap in the market.

Just one woman's quiet, burning refusal to settle.

Sorcish is a luxury home decor brand — candles, décor pieces, gifting collections, and everything in between. All of it designed with one obsessive belief: that your home deserves to be beautiful in real life, not just in pictures.

Every piece we make is touched by hand. Checked by eye. Held to a standard that most brands won't bother with — because most brands don't care enough to.

We do.

When our team creates a piece, they are not just making a product. They are making something for someone's home. Someone's celebration. Someone's quiet Sunday morning. Someone's gift to a person they love.

That is the weight we carry with every single thing we make.

The Midas Touch — our name says everything.

Not gold for gold's sake. But the belief that when something is made with enough love, enough attention, enough care — it turns into something that makes people stop. Smile. Feel something they cannot quite put into words.

That is what we are chasing with every piece we create.

That smile. That feeling. That moment when something lands in your home and suddenly the whole room feels more like you.

We are not the biggest home decor brand in India.

But we might just be the most careful one.

And until every edge is perfect, every finish is flawless, every piece makes someone feel something —

We will not stop.

Because your home deserves nothing less.
