We get a fair number of requests for custom candles — names, initials, short messages, sometimes a specific color to match an event's palette. Here's what's actually possible, and what tends to trip people up.
What we can personalize
Text on the label or jar (names, dates, short messages), wax color within our existing palette, and the scent, within the fragrances we already stock. For bulk orders — weddings, corporate events — we can also apply a consistent design across all pieces so they read as a set rather than a one-off.
What we generally can't do
Fully custom shapes or molds require tooling we don't keep on hand for one-off orders — those are only feasible at fairly large volumes. Scents outside our existing range also aren't something we can formulate to order; we work within the fragrances we've already tested for clean burn.
Lead time
Simple text personalization usually adds a few days to standard processing. Bulk custom orders — say, 50+ pieces for a wedding — need more lead time, so it's worth reaching out a few weeks ahead of the event rather than the week before.
Common uses we see
Wedding favors with the couple's names and date, corporate gifts with a short thank-you message instead of a logo, and birthday or anniversary candles with a specific inside joke or nickname rather than a generic "Happy Birthday."
If you have something specific in mind, the easiest way to check feasibility is to message us directly with what you're picturing — we'll tell you honestly whether it's something we can do well, rather than a version that'll disappoint.
