Luxury today isn't really about excess anymore — it's closer to intention. In a well-designed office, boutique, or home, every object earns its place. People aren't just decorating spaces now; they're curating them.
That shift is where our sculptural candles come from.
From candle to statement piece
We wanted our sculptural pieces — the Medusa head, the arch, the female form — to do more than hold a scent. Each one is designed to hold its own as an object, whether it's lit or not: something that works as a centerpiece on a dining table, a visual anchor on an office shelf, or a quiet detail in a styled room.
These pieces tend to show up in office cabins, styled homes, and retail displays for the same reason — they don't blend in, and they're not trying to.
A founder's note
"When I first sketched this collection, I had a strong sense it would become one of Sorcish's signature lines — not because it followed a trend, but because the design doesn't really date. Seeing how people respond to it now is genuinely the best part of making it," says Sujata Baudh, founder of Sorcish.
Why this resonates now
There's a broader shift toward design-led objects over mass-produced ones — people choosing fewer, more considered pieces rather than filling a space with more stuff. A sculptural candle fits that instinct: it's functional, but the function isn't really the point.
If that's the kind of piece you're looking for — something that adds a bit of character to a room rather than just filling it — this collection is where we'd point you first.
